Boy that is a mouthful isn’t it. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard people say that expression and how stupid does that sound? I know many of you will admit you were thinking the same thing. Every one of us would like to have a free existence in which money was no problem, time is not an issue and daily needs are met beyond our expectation. How can giving make me better and if I need and not receiving make me happier? I know, I have brought up a large amount of question and I am sure you have your own questions and Ideas.
A few weeks ago I was asked to read a book called The Go-Giver that is sold on Amazon as apart of the training program of “Partnership to Success” developed by John Thornhill. The book is written by Bob Burg and John David Mann. The author begins to talk about an individual who has deadlines and quotas and who is very needy as you and I can find ourselves at times. He moves us through different stages in which we immediately can say “Hey been there and surely done that“. The thing I understand the most is situations happen and are always changing and we make a true decision of who we will be in the process.
